Things to do in Hinjawadi

Hinjawadi is Pune's biggest IT park, the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, spread over three phases on the western edge of the urban area. Events here follow the working week: tech conferences, hackathons and meetups in company campuses and hotels, after-work comedy and live music in pubs along the Wakad road, and corporate sports leagues on turf grounds. Townships and malls nearby run their own festive programmes. Traffic at peak hours is notoriously slow, so check timings before committing to a weekday evening event. The 23-km metro line from Hinjawadi to Shivajinagar was built but still awaiting its opening in early October 2026.
