Things to do in Chinchwad

Chinchwad is the cultural centre of the twin city. Prof. Ramkrishna More Prekshagruha is the corporation's main auditorium, with Marathi theatre, orchestra shows and concerts. The Auto Cluster Exhibition Center nearby hosts industrial trade shows, auto and EV expos and consumer exhibitions, and Elpro City Square is the area's mall for cinema and weekend activities. Families head to the Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park, with its hands-on galleries and inflatable planetarium dome. Old Chinchwadgaon has the Morya Gosavi temple and Chapekar Wada, a memorial to the Chapekar brothers. Chinchwad has a suburban railway station; the metro currently ends at PCMC, with the extension to Nigdi under construction.
