Film Screenings & Film Festivals in Pune
3 events coming up across Pune โ mostly film (3).
Pune has a claim to being India's film-education capital: the Film and Television Institute of India and the National Film Archive of India stand on the same stretch of Law College Road. The archive, set up in 1964, runs Film Circle screenings, retrospectives and appreciation courses at its Law College Road theatre and at a second theatre in Kothrud. The big date is the Pune International Film Festival, whose 25th edition is listed for 14 to 21 January 2027; in 2026 it screened at PVR ICON in The Pavillion mall, the National Film Archive and E-Square, with entry by delegate pass. Through the year, film clubs, cultural centres and cafรฉs hold documentary nights, short-film showcases and director Q&As. This page lists special screenings, film festivals and film-club events in Pune; regular multiplex showtimes are not included.
