Things to do in Swargate, Sarasbaug & Mukundnagar

Swargate is Pune's southern transport hub, and the grounds and halls around it carry some of the city's signature events. Ganesh Kala Krida Manch is the civic hall for large concerts, award nights and trade fairs. The Pune International Marathon starts and finishes at the Baburao Sanas Ground beside Nehru Stadium. Sarasbaug, the Peshwa-era garden with its Ganpati temple, fills for Diwali Pahat dawn concerts and evening outings, and Parvati Hill rises just beyond. In Mukundnagar, the Maharashtriya Mandal Krida Sankul has been the home of the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav since 2018. Swargate is the terminus of the Purple Line and the main PMPML and state-transport bus stand.
