About Ankushrao Landge Natyagruha

Ankushrao Landge Natyagruha is the civic theatre at Bhosari, built by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for the eastern, industrial side of the twin city. It is a full-scale proscenium hall with stalls and a balcony, and its programme mixes touring Marathi plays with tamasha and lavani, orchestra nights, kirtan, competitions and school and corporation functions. Like the corporation's other auditoriums, it has been made available free of charge to municipal schools for their events. For audiences in Bhosari, Moshi, Dighi and the MIDC colonies it is the local alternative to travelling into Chinchwad or Pune. The Purple Line station named Nashik Phata (Bhosari) is on the old Mumbai–Pune highway, so you will need a bus or auto along the Nashik road for the last few kilometres.
