Things to Do in Pune This Week

This page lists what is on in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad over the next seven days, refreshed every morning, so the short answer to 'what can I do this week?' is the list below. Pune's calendar has a clear shape. Marathi theatre runs daily at Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir, Tilak Smarak Mandir and Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha, with the twin city's civic auditoriums adding their own shows. Stand-up comedy plays most nights in small clubs in Aundh, Kharadi and Koregaon Park and in halls such as Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall. Live music ranges from jazz and tribute nights at The Mills and High Spirits to open-air concerts on the Karve Nagar lawns and at Phoenix Marketcity's Liberty Square. Weekends add workshops, flea markets, treks to the forts around the city, guided walks through the old peths and family events in the malls. The season matters: October to February is peak time for outdoor concerts, classical music festivals and fairs, while the monsoon pushes most plans indoors.
