Flea Markets & Pop-up Bazaars in Pune

3 events matching right now across Pune β€” mostly dance (1), expo (1), festival (1).

Pune's markets come in three kinds, and this page lists the ones with dates: pop-up flea markets, seasonal fairs and festive exhibitions. Pop-ups are the weekend staple. Organisers take over mall atria, hotel lawns and cafΓ© courtyards in Koregaon Park, Viman Nagar, Baner and Wakad with stalls of indie clothing, jewellery, home dΓ©cor, plants and food, often with live music; entry is free or carries a small fee. The seasonal fairs are bigger. Bhimthadi Jatra at the Agriculture College ground in Shivajinagar is the best known: its 2025 edition, from 20 to 25 December, had 325 stalls from women entrepreneurs and self-help groups across Maharashtra and 12 other states, selling regional food, textiles and crafts. Pimpri-Chinchwad's municipal corporation runs a similar fair, Pavanathadi Jatra. Before Diwali, exhibition-cum-sales of clothes, lanterns and gifts fill halls and lawns across the city. Then there are the permanent street markets, which need no ticket: Tulshibaug and Laxmi Road in the old city for clothes, jewellery and household goods, Fashion Street in Camp, the stalls along FC Road, and Juna Bazaar, the old second-hand market held on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Good to know

  • Carry cash in small notes for street markets such as Tulshibaug and Juna Bazaar; pop-up stalls mostly take UPI.
  • Go early. Pop-up markets are easiest to browse in the first two hours, before the evening crowd.
  • Bargaining is normal in the street markets but not at fixed-price maker stalls.
  • For Bhimthadi Jatra, choose a weekday if you can; weekend evenings are very crowded.
  • Take the metro to Mahatma Phule Mandai for Tulshibaug and Laxmi Road, where parking is close to impossible.
