Updated 2026-10-12 · 7 min read · by the pune2go team
For live music in Pune, start with Shisha Jazz Cafe at The Mills and High Spirits Cafe in Koregaon Park Annexe; for big concerts, look to Mahalaxmi Lawns and Phoenix Marketcity; and for stand-up, to the small clubs led by Flow Comedy Club in Aundh, where a ticket can cost as little as ₹99. This guide covers the venues that had shows on sale or recent events when we checked in October 2026, what they are good for, what tickets cost and how to reach them. The gigs themselves change weekly, so use our live music listings and comedy listings for dates.

Jazz, indie and bar gigs
Shisha Jazz Cafe
Pune’s jazz café spent years at ABC Farms in Koregaon Park and is now part of The Mills, the redeveloped mill compound near Pune Railway Station. It remains the most reliable place in the city for a sit-down gig. Listings for late 2026 show the spread: the Réunion singer Maya Kamaty on 22 October from ₹270, an ABBA and Boney M tribute by Double Helix on 30 October from ₹499, and a Michael Learns to Rock tribute by Abji and the Grooves on 28 November from ₹375. Shows are generally listed for 8 pm with entry from 7:45 pm. Recent listings admitted all ages, with tickets needed from age five, and described the café as pet-friendly. You eat and drink at your table through the set, which makes it an easy date-night or family choice. Details are on our Shisha Jazz Cafe page.
High Spirits Cafe
High Spirits sits at the far end of North Main Road, past the Kalyani Nagar bridge, in the stretch that listings call Koregaon Park, Koregaon Park Annexe or Mundhwa. It has an indoor bar and an open-air section with a stage, and its week mixes live bands, tribute acts, DJ and electronic nights and karaoke; a Queen tribute by Tribute Inc was listed in August 2026, and the gig database Songkick records dozens of past concerts by Indian indie acts. Ticketed nights are generally 21 and over. There is no metro station within walking distance, so plan a cab both ways. See the High Spirits Cafe page.
The clubs at The Mills
The same compound as Shisha holds several clubs and bars, among them Di Mora, Epitome, Millers The Luxury Club and a Bira taproom, which book touring pop and club acts. Jasmin Walia was listed at Di Mora on 23 October 2026 with tickets from ₹1,000, and Millers ran a three-night dandiya event during Navratri. Listings name the individual club followed by ‘The Mills’. Our guide to The Mills explains the layout and the nearest metro stations.
Open-air concert grounds
Mahalaxmi Lawns, Karve Nagar. Pune’s main festival ground. The NH7 Weekender returned here from 13 to 15 March 2026 with an all-Indian line-up that included Nucleya, Indian Ocean, Prateek Kuhad, Raftaar and KR$NA, and organisers reported more than 20,000 fans across the weekend. Yo Yo Honey Singh’s My Story tour was scheduled here for 4 April 2026. Big shows are mostly standing, with zoned tickets. There is no metro station nearby; take the Aqua Line to SNDT College or Paud Phata and an auto. More on the Mahalaxmi Lawns page.
Pandit Farms, Karve Nagar riverside. The address for seated open-air concerts and listening audiences: a sarod quintet evening in April 2026, Javed Akhtar’s ‘Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon’ on 25 October 2026 from ₹990, and Raghav Chaitanya on 5 December from ₹499. Recent listings mention free parking, vegetarian-only food stalls and no alcohol. See the Pandit Farms page.
Liberty Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Viman Nagar. The mall’s open-air courtyard takes touring bands and Bollywood composers. Sanam, Salim–Sulaiman and Akhil Sachdeva were all listed here in 2026, and Arjun Kanungo is listed at a Phoenix mall in Pune on 12 December from ₹699. Check the address on your ticket: Pune has a second Phoenix mall, Phoenix Mall of the Millennium in Wakad, on the opposite side of the city, and listings do not always say which one they mean. Ramwadi on the Aqua Line is the nearest station to Phoenix Marketcity.
MCA Stadium, Gahunje. The cricket stadium off the Mumbai–Pune Expressway is the region’s largest venue and has been used for stadium concerts; Arijit Singh performed there on 16 March 2025. It has no metro or regular bus, and traffic on event days is severe, so it suits those willing to commit an entire evening.
Classical music
Pune’s reputation in Hindustani classical music rests on the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav, held every December at the Maharashtriya Mandal Krida Sankul in Mukundnagar. The 2025 edition ran from 10 to 14 December; dates for 2026 had not been announced when we checked in mid-October. Our Sawai Gandharva page will carry them. Through the rest of the year, recitals and baithaks are held in halls such as Tilak Smarak Mandir and Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha, and Diwali week brings Diwali Pahat, concerts that begin around dawn in gardens, lawns and auditoriums across the city.
Comedy clubs
Pune’s stand-up scene runs through small rooms with frequent shows and low prices. These all had shows on sale in October 2026.
- Flow Comedy Club, Aundh. Near Westend Mall. Its recurring formats include a Tuesday stand-up night at 9 pm from ₹150, a weekend line-up called The Back Bencher show from ₹99, and Sunday shows with several slots. Shows run about two hours in Hindi, Hinglish and English, and the age limit is 16. See the Flow Comedy Club page.
- The Mic Loft Studio. Runs ‘Kharadi Late Nights’ on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 pm, a Friday stand-up special and Marathi stand-up specials, all from ₹149. Listings describe an indoor, air-conditioned room with assigned seating; the Marathi show is 18 and over.
- Backspace Pune. A step up in price and billing: Sumaira Shaikh and Daahab Chishti on 18 October and Arvind Sunder on 24 October 2026, both from ₹399, in an indoor room with open seating.
- Laugh and Vibe Club. A midweek Wednesday special at 9 pm was listed from ₹49, the cheapest ticket we found.
- Vintage Comedy Club. Daily 8 pm shows of about 90 minutes from ₹199, plus a late 10 pm show, for ages 18 and over.
- Studio 7, Pimpri-Chinchwad. A Saturday-evening line-up show from ₹150 for ages 16 and over, which shows that the twin city now has club nights of its own.
Ticket pages do not always give a full street address for these rooms, and small clubs move, so open the map link on the listing before you set out. The Pune Comedy Festival, held on 4 and 5 April 2026 at a garden venue in Kharadi, was the year’s larger gathering. If you want to get on stage yourself, our open mic page explains how sign-ups work.
Comedy in auditoriums
Touring comedians book proper theatres. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall on Dr Ambedkar Road in Camp is the usual choice: Jamie Lever’s 2026 India tour was listed there on 23 October at 9 pm, from ₹799. Listings describe open seating, no food and drink inside and no venue parking. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Kalamandir in Aundh serves north-west Pune, and Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir and Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha take Marathi comedy plays and the occasional stand-up special. See the Nehru Memorial Hall page for transport and seating notes.
Practical notes
- Age and ID. Comedy clubs are 16+ or 18+, bar gigs are commonly 21+, and Maharashtra’s drinking age is 25 for spirits and 21 for beer and wine. Carry photo ID.
- Closing time. Pune police expect bars to close by 1:30 am on ordinary nights, so gigs end earlier than in some cities.
- Language. Stand-up is in Hindi, English, Hinglish or Marathi. The listing says which.
- Getting home. The metro helps for The Mills, Camp and the city-centre theatres. Koregaon Park, the Karve Nagar lawns, Aundh and Kharadi need a cab, and cabs are scarce after midnight.
- Outdoor season. Open-air concerts run mainly from October to March. Carry a layer in December and January.
